It is also a recreational city where you can pratice sports such as sailing, surfing or mountain biking and also admire a theater play at its remarkable Festival Hall.

Cantabria is a crown jewel of Green Spain, yet its real beauty lies among her villages. In spite of being one of Spain's smallest autonomous regions, some of the major tourist spots in the country can be found here, like the Cave of Altamira, considered the "Sixtine Chapel" of Paleolythic art, or the Nature Park of Cabarceno, comprising 750 acres with semi-free animals from several continents.
